Introduction

Kamenski&Sons has been founded in 1996 as a privately owned company. It has started its operations as a commercial entity, specializing in the distribution of food products, having a vehicle fleet and warehouses of its own. Being a regional player at the beginning, the company operations grew fast to have a nation-wide coverage via leading national chains, nowadays reaching over 7000 stores.

The Factory

Since its foundation, Kamenski&Sons has been focused on distribution of packed nuts and in Y2000 a strategic investment was made in building and equipping of its own production facilities - all necessary for processing, baking, garnishing, packing of high quality nuts. The factory has been based in the city of Shoumen, situated in the north east part of Bulgaria. Ensuring sustainable highest quality has been our priority both with respect to the nuts and seeds used as raw materials, as well as with respect to the production process itself.

Our Brands

The first company brand introduced to the Bulgarian market is JENI in 1998. Currently it offers a great variety of quality nuts to the Bulgarian consumers - from the traditionally preferred sunflower seeds and peanuts to the exotic macadamia nuts. JENI nuts come in 70g and 200 g packs.

In 2010 a new brand was born to challenge the sunflower seeds segment, being the biggest and mostly saturated one. The first ever sunflower seeds brand was introduced to the Bulgarian consumers under the name of HULIGAN - provoking both the main players, and the sunflower seeds lovers.
The sunflower seeds product comes in 65g and 125g packs, and the pumpkin seeds packs are 60g and 125g.

In 2011 the brand was heavily supported with TV campaigns and it is gradually building strong positions on the shelf, as well as constantly provoking its consumers with engaging experiences and highest quality products.

Since 2002 our company has been producing also Mr Picks, rebranded to Premia in 2010 - the private label owned by Piccadilly chain of stores, which is a member of the Belgian international food retailer Delhaize Group.

Our Future

Our 3-years Innovation Plan reflects our strong belief in the nuts and seeds market growth potential, being the only rapidly growing snacks market in Bulgaria and in the Balkan Region. A trend reflecting the changing consumers snacking habits and the growing need for healthier living all over the world.

In 2012 will be the premier of our third brand - its launch will be a result of our constant endeavors, our profound knowledge of consumer in-sights and powerful category motivators; our expertise in building strong and loved brands and producing highest quality products, and our devotion to get the best products to the right places - both targeting the local market, as well as going beyond to export markets.
